How we work
Four steps, and no surprises at any of them.
A renovation is a big thing to trust someone with. Here’s exactly how a project runs with Oxford Home Renovation — from design consultation through written quote and in-house build to a clean hand-back — so there are no unknowns before you pick up the phone.
01
Design consultation and honest advice
We come out, look at the property properly and talk through what's realistic — the scope, the sequence and the likely timeframe. Because we design in-house, we can shape the plan, the layout and the finishes with you from the very start, not bolt them on later.
What you get at this stage
A design consultation and honest advice, with a realistic view of the scope, sequence and likely timeframe — shaped in-house from the start.
02
A clear, written quote
You get a written quote setting out the work before anything starts, so you know what's included. If the scope grows once we're underway — as it often does on renovations — we talk it through before we act, not after.
What you get at this stage
A clear written quote setting out the work — with any mid-build scope changes talked through before we act.
03
The build — one team, in the right order
Because the trades are in-house, the work follows in the right sequence with nobody left waiting on someone else. The site is protected while we work and kept in order, so your home stays liveable throughout.
What you get at this stage
An in-house build worked in the right order, with the site protected and kept in order so your home stays liveable throughout.
04
Finished, cleaned and handed back
We don't call a project done until it's genuinely finished and the site is clean. And when you're ready for the next room, the roof or the garden, most of the work we take on is exactly that — the next phase for someone we've already built for.
What you get at this stage
A genuinely finished project, cleaned and handed back — and an open door to book the next phase whenever you’re ready.

The part most people never see — the planning and sequencing that keeps a build on schedule
